This celery stuffing recipe is quick and easy to make, saving you precious time when preparing a roast dinner. Ingredients
- 250g of celery , chopped
- 250g of onion , chopped
- 125g of unsalted butter
- 350g of white breadcrumbs
- 1 lemon , juiced and zested
- 4 tbsp of chopped parsley , mixed with any pale leaves from the celery
- 2 small eggs
- salt
- pepper
Method

Heat the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat and add the onion and celery. Gently cook until soft but not brown for 20 minutes
- 125g of unsalted butter
- 250g of celery , chopped
- 250g of onion , chopped

Allow to cool slightly, then combine with the remaining ingredients in a large bowl

- 1 lemon , juice and zest
- 4 tbsp of chopped parsley , and pale celery leaves
- 2 small eggs

Stuff the mixture into the bird, leaving room for the stuffing to swell slightly as it cooks

Roast the bird until fully cooked, at which point the stuffing will be cooked through as well
