Turmeric margarita

Straight from the bar at Anna Hansen's feted restaurant, The Modern Pantry, this bright yellow margarita is infused with turmeric and cloves to put a modern twist on an old favourite.

  • Martini glass

Method

Add enough ice cubes to come halfway up the shaker. Pour in the turmeric infused tequila, honey and lemon juice

Seal with a lid or Boston glass and shake well for 30 seconds. Fill a Martini glass to the top with crushed ice and use a Hawthorne strainer to pour into the prepared glass

Top up with bitter lemon and garnish with a fresh physilis
