Acai, apple and carrot smoothie

Marcello Tully shares his easy acai berry smoothie recipe. Acai berries are rich in antioxidants and have a wonderful tart flavour. The inclusion of apple and carrot help take the acidic edge off the berries and further increase the health benefits of this vegan smoothie.

Acai smoothie

  • 1 apple, peeled and cored
  • 100g of acai berry purée
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 200ml of almond milk

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Straws 2

Method

1
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses, pop in the straws and serve immediately
