Great British Chefs is a premium brand that provides food lovers with great recipes, tips and how to videos from the very best chefs in Britain. The chefs we work with are the chefs who cook in their restaurants on a daily basis and whose food is distinctive and cooked with love. We define a Great British Chef as someone who is cooking in Great Britain wherever they may have been born - in fact it is this diversity that makes the culinary scene in Great Britain so interesting.
We pride ourself on delivering high quality multi-media content from the real experts across a series of channels and ensuring that social media is at the heart of it.
We have launched three apps for iPad / iPhone, all of which are beautiful and the latest of which was featured in Apple's latest TV advert for iPad.
Our website is constantly growing and expanding - we add new recipes, new films and new chefs on daily basis. If you have any feedback please email us at email@example.com.
Based out of East London not far from “Silicon roundabout,” we are a dynamic and collaborative business so if you want to get in touch drop us a line. Here are a list of the people who are involved with our business
Ollie Lloyd - CEO
Great British Chefs was Ollie’s idea and he is both one of the founders and CEO of the business. Prior to this he co-founded a creative consultancy specialising in brand development called Creamer & Lloyd, whose clients included Unilever, Mars, Whittard and many others. Ollie previously worked with What If? Innovation on client projects for Pepsi, Currys and Boots; and before that for 8 years as a Brand Manager, Regional Brand Manager and Senior Customer Marketing Manager with Unilever on various key brands. Ollie is known at work for picking up random cuts of meats at butchers around London and encouraging the team to try various slow cooked creations.
Tim Rosenberg - Business Development Director
Tim spent his formative years in Client Services for marketing agencies like JWT working on a diverse number of accounts such as Disney, British Gas, Odeon Cinemas and Natwest. Tim is now the poacher turned gamekeeper having switched his attentions to the client side. Over the last 10 years he has been involved in early stage businesses across a range of sectors from children's digital publishing, online gaming and ecommerce.

Mecca Ibrahim – Head of Social Media
We think that Mecca has finally found her true calling in life. She has spent the last 10 years at some of the biggest and most innovative internet businesses out there (Yahoo, Just Giving, E-How, Moo.com and Joost) and was winning awards for her blog when most people didn’t know what a blog was. Mecca hosts an annual food blogging competition called NomNomNom, runs the multi-award winning London Underground Tube Diary and tweets from @anniemole. At work she is known for her chocolate desserts and boundless enthusiasm for our Facebook pages, Pinterest boards, numerous tweets and Google+.
We're always on the hunt for new bloggers, for our blog & you're interested in writing for us email email@example.com
James Ellis-Jones - Head of Technology
James is the technical sage of the business and has the beard to match. James has very wide experience and brings all of it to bear on the challenge of presenting our content in the smartest and most beautiful way possible. When things go wrong, James brings a sense of calm and clarity to the situation. The odd thing is that his performances in the kitchen, although phenomenal from a taste perspective do often leave a trail of destruction - we are working on this!
Martin Malloy - Senior UX / UI Developer
Martin has recently come to London from Glasgow and seems to have slotted into the London scene pretty easily - then again as a graffiti-collecting whizz developer it is hardly surprising. He learned the tricks of the trade at an agency, Turnkey, working on a range of projects from website builds, mobile applications and windows development. He famously cooked haggis on his first day in charge of the kitchen and hasn't looked back since.
Rory Natkiel - Head of Digital Marketing
Rory joined us from Great Ormond Street Hospital and found out we were recruiting as he was using our site for recipe inspiration. He is passionate about food and seems to spend more time touring the great restaurants than any of us which may explain why he is a regular at the local gym. He is an expert on getting our site and content the visibility it deserves and is constantly reaching out to bloggers, other websites and media partners to see how we can work together.
Isaac Parham - Website Editor
Isaac studied Scriptwriting for Film and Television at Bournemouth University, graduating in 2010 and was our third ever employee starting as an intern. He helped Gemma with all the early research and it does seem that he has actually digested the entire Michelin and Good Food Guide. He has co-ordinated the mass of content that has come in over the last 6 months and has become our resident encyclopedia. He now leads the development of our content and ensures it is both inspirational and accurate - a complex balance
Eliot Colins - Chef Liaison
Gemma Marti O’Toole - Project Manager
Eliot qualified as a chef at the highly awarded Lucios Italian Restaurant in Paddington Sydney (2 chefs hats). He then moved to San Francisco and was a chef at Gary Danko (Zagat no.1 in San Francisco 12 years running / 1 Michelin star). His travelling then brought him to Great Britain where he has managed The Princess of Shoreditch and did an internship at Slow Food UK. He joined Great British Chefs in April and is responsible for working with our chefs and getting great recipes from them. He is our resident food expert and has definitely raised the standard of our team lunches and the organisation of the kitchen and the fridge
Vimal Khosla - Chair
Vimal was Founder & CEO of Travelselect (the first flight booking website in Europe), which was sold to Lastminute.com in 2002. He is non-Executive Director and investor at venture-backed Encore Tickets Ltd, sold to Isis; and Co-founder of the Crichton Carbon Centre.
The second employee at Great British Chefs, Gemma was responsible for the initial research that led to the creation of Great British Chefs. Prior to this she worked for D&AD and Creamer and Lloyd. Gemma painstakingly created our first app, project managed the development of our website and delivered our second app. She is know for her Catalan cooking creations and strong views about most things. She is currently working on the ultimate project as she recently became a mother but we are all looking forward to having her back
