Sticky sesame pork ribs

Ribs are an indulgent treat that most people enjoy once in a while, and there is no reason why you shouldn't prepare your own as Marcus Wareing's pork ribs recipe demonstrates. Serve up in a big bowl and let people dive in.

In a large bowl, combine all of the marinade ingredients. Add the pork ribs and mix until coated in the marinade

Cover the ribs and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or preferably overnight

Preheat the oven to 190°C/gas mark 5. Add vegetable oil to a large roasting tray and heat for 5 minutes. Remove the hot tray from the oven and add the ribs
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable oil

Place back in the oven for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Cover in sesame seeds then bake for a further 3-4 minutes until golden

Remove from the oven, allow to rest for 5 minutes then serve immediately
