To serve

To begin, make the topping. Toss together all the crumble ingredients and place in the Actifry. Cook for 8–10 minutes, until crisp and golden

Toss the apples with the maple syrup, ginger and cinnamon and place in the Actifry. Add the butter and cook for 12–15 minutes, or until soft but still with some texture. Divide the apples between 4 bowls or glasses

To serve, scatter the crumble topping over the prepared apples and serve with a dollop of ice cream, crème fraîche or lashings of custard
