Chocolate fondue with marshmallow and banana

A fun pudding or party treat for kids, this easy fondue recipe from Marcello Tully is incredibly quick and versatile. Mix up the fruits and sweet treats for dunking, strawberries and pineapples work particularly well, or even chunks of chocolate brownie for a double chocolate extravaganza.

Method

First, melt the chocolate. Add the chocolate to a bowl and place over a pan of hot water - don’t let the base of the bowl come into contact with the water. Gently stir until all of the chocolate melts

Add the chopped banana to a bowl along with the grapes. Empty the marshmallows into a separate bowl

Alternately thread the fruit and marshmallows onto cocktail sticks or skewers. Dip into the chocolate to coat and place onto a plate

Lastly, sprinkle over the popping candy and edible glitter, or, if you prefer, desiccated coconut
  • 5g of popping candy
  • 1 tsp edible glitter
