The Great British Chefs NSPCC Dinner 2018: who’s cooking

Find out more about the six Michelin-starred chefs who will be cooking at this year’s Great British Chefs Charity Dinner, held in aid of the NSPCC.

Great British Chefs and the NSPCC have been working together since 2012, teaming up every year to hold a wonderful fundraising dinner in support of the children’s charity. The very first of our winter galas featured four fantastic chefs – Adam Stokes, Robert Thompson, Adam Simmonds and Lisa Goodwin-Allen – who provided a course each for our lucky diners. That number has increased to five in recent years, but for the first time ever our 2018 event will see six chefs on the pass cooking for the esteemed guests.

This year’s dinner will be held once again at London’s prestigious Guildhall – a grand and fitting building for such an event – with the superb team at Mosimann’s helping to put our chefs’ plans into action and deliver the food on the night. Our fundraising has gone from strength to strength over the years – 2017 was our most successful dinner to date, raising over £200,000 for the NSPCC. This year, we’ll be looking to smash that total yet again – many of our guests and chefs have donated unbelievable prizes to help raise funds for the charity, ranging from hampers and gifts to experience days and visits to some of the UK’s very best restaurants and hotels.

This year we’re bringing together four outstanding chefs from all corners of Britain, plus two very special guests from Italy in what promises to be an incredible night. Read on to get to know a bit more about the chefs cooking this year, and keep up to date with all the food, drink and events of the night on Twitter (@gbcnspccdinner) and Instagram (gbcnspccdinner).
