Classic mojito

Ever wanted to make the classic mojito from scratch? Well now you can, with this mojito recipe from Nebojsa Kutlesic, head mixologist at London's Skylon restaurant on the South Bank. Garnish with freshly picked mint for maximum impact.

  • Highball glass
  • Bar spoon or swizzle stick

Method

Fill a tall glass to halfway with crushed ice

Add the rum, lime quarters, mint leaves and gomme syrup. Stir hard with a bar spoon

Add more crushed ice, top up with soda and garnish with a large sprig of mint
