Quantcast

Vivek Singh's festive cocktail is an alcohol-free version of a snowball. Start preparing this beverage the day before a party, as the mincemeat-infused syrup must be left overnight

Method
1.
For the syrup, heat together the sugar and water in a pan until the sugar dissolves
2.
Leave to cool a little then pour into a jar. Add the mincemeat and leave to infuse overnight. Then, strain the mixture and reserve the syrup
3.
Measure out 10ml of the syrup. Mix with all of the other ingredients until white and frothy
Room for a little one
Get your kids to help with this step, by having them mix the syrup with the other ingredients in a jar or jug and letting you know when the liquid turns white and frothy
4.
Pour into glasses and dust with the cinnamon. Top with some redcurrants and serve
