The five day foodie extravaganza in London's Regent's Park ceratainly lived up to its theme for 2015 - Flavours of the World. The huge range of international cuisines and flavours found in London were not only celebrated with food from 40 of London's hottest restaurants, but fascinating demos from the chefs who create the menus.

The theatre was packed each day as the audience were treated to demos from the chefs - often preparing two recipes each, while taking questions and updating the fascinated crowd with news of openings, new books, pop ups and insights into their unique styles of cookery.

A super relaxed and open Marcus Wareing told the audience how he thought he'd won the lottery when he heard that he would be stepping into Michel Roux Jnr's shoes to co-host MasterChef the Professionals. Monica Galetti and himself are filming a new series later this year, and in a separate session we learnt more about Monica's plans after leaving Le Gavroche.

In addition to the international flavours, talents such as Andre Garrett and Adam Gray demonstrated how to get the best our of great British ingredients such as Dorset crab and home produced rapeseed oil which is fast becoming a strong contender to olive oil in chefs' kitchens.

New to the Taste of London theatre this year was a Chef's Table, where six lucky members of the audience got to sit on stage and try the creations themselves. Also the chefs had fun signing the wall after their appearance.

One of the more emotional questions at the theatre came on Saturday afternoon as a man proposed to his fiance in front of hundreds of foodies. We're pleased to say, she said yes!

More delight for two of Great British Chefs' head chefs came with announcements that their dishes had won Best in Taste awards. Anna Hansen picked up an award for her hearty and spicy mince and tatties.

A delightful fresh and fragrant peach sorbet with baked white peaches by Theo Randall also received an award at the festival.

Taste of London, wasn't just about food & drink. You could have a game of boules on Celebrity Cruises' Lawn Club (which also had a very popular food, wine and craft beer pairing).

Baranis treated the crowds to try their hand at Pétanque after some creative cocktails.

Taste of London once again proved to be a festival for everyone - Saturday's lunchtime session sold out and the weather (mainly) held up to help the crowds have an amazing time.
