Heirloom Tomato Bloodless Mary
Inspired by a lovely Heirloom tomato dish on the menu at The Gorgeous Kitchen, this cocktail recipe also makes the most of the delicious yellow tomatoes – hence the Bloodless Mary.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of coriander
- 1 heirloom tomato , pale colour or green
- 50ml of vodka , preferably Ketel
- 12.5ml of lime juice
- 12.5ml of stock syrup, infused with jalapeno chillies
- olives, jarred in brine
- salt
- celery salt
Method

Add a handful of the coriander leaves and 1 of the heirloom tomatoes to a cocktail shaker and muddle together

Add ice, the vodka, lime juice, jalapeno syrup and 12.5ml of the brine from the olive jar. Shake well to combine

Mix together 2 parts salt to 1 part celery salt on a plate. Dampen the edge of a high ball glass and dip in the salt mix to rim

Pour the cocktail mix into the glass and garnish with a sprig of coriander
