Gooseberry gin julep
This gooseberry gin julep recipe uses Victoria's glorious berry-infused gin for a refreshing summer cocktail.
Ingredients
Gooseberry gin julep
- 20ml of elderflower cordial, (or substitute for sugar syrup with a squeeze of lemon juice)
- 8 fresh mint leaves , plus a small sprig to garnish
- 60ml of gooseberry gin
- ice
Method

Muddle the mint leaves in the syrup in a highball glass, then add plenty of crushed ice

Add the gin, give it a good stir and add more ice to fill the glass to the top

Top with a sprig of fresh mint and serve immediately
