There’s something really special about fresh pasta. We’re not talking about that strange, slightly rubbery ‘fresh’ pasta you find in the supermarkets, but the proper stuff – silky strands of yellow ribbons, rich with egg and just the right texture. The trouble is, it can be quite a faff to prepare from scratch at home, often requiring pasta machines, large work surfaces and somewhere to hang the pasta before cooking (not to mention the skill needed to create truly incredible pasta).

So while making fresh pasta at home can be a very satisfying and rewarding experience, it also takes it out of the realm of midweek mealtimes for most of us. And with supermarket ‘fresh’ pasta not quite living up to its name, a lot of people leave proper fresh pasta to the restaurants, treating it like a luxury to enjoy once in a while. But since delving into the world of delivery, La Tua Pasta now sends truly fresh pasta of all kinds direct to your door, ready to cook in just a few minutes.

A proper Pastificio (pasta producer), La Tua has been supplying some of the UK’s top restaurants with fresh pasta since 2006. Following traditional Italian recipes, carefully sourcing the finest ingredients to work with and producing everything from scratch (including the fillings), La Tua’s pastas have won over seventy awards.

The range on offer covers all the classics, with plenty of more luxurious options alongside. Fresh gnocchi comes doused in a black truffle butter, while ‘nduja tortellini is adorned with a vibrant red pesto. There are vegan and gluten-free options too, as well as sauces, antipasti and desserts – so you can really make a midweek dinner something special in a matter of minutes.
