Apple Meringue Puddings

Continuing our celebrations for Bramley Apple Week, Rosana looks at the origins of this well loved apple.  She also shares a delightful recipe, based on her mother's favourite dessert, using just four ingredients: Apple Meringue Pudding.

Bramley Apple Week starts on 3rd February 2013 and is a great way to recognise one of the best British apples to cook with. Madeleine shares a simple dish to enjoy the tangy taste of Bramleys

Apple Day takes place on Sunday, October the 21st 2012. There will be a nationwide celebration of orchards, with all manners of apple-y events from large fairs to little festivals at the farmer's market.  Shu Han celebrated early by visiting Chegworth Valley's orchards in Kent. She also made the most of some imperfect apples with a delicious recipe for Tamarind apple sauce.
