Josh Eggleton on Eat Drink Bristol Fashion

Eat Drink Bristol Fashion - the popular “pop-up” event that celebrates Bristol’s thriving food and drink industry has returned to the city for two weeks (13th - 27th May 2013). We were delighted to get some time with Josh Eggleton from the award winning Pony & Trap who is also the event’s co-director, to find out what’s in store this year.

Bristol, home of Brunel’s famous suspension bridge, Banksy and drum and bass music. You may not know that it’s also the destination for great food too. This summer, thousands of foodies will experience some amazing food fairs, festivals and markets and also sample award winning restaurants in picturesque settings. With so much on offer, Sara, a recent graduate from Bristol University, gives her thoughts on the some of the best places to visit.

Bristol’s Georgian Squares will shortly have some Native American tipis popping up in them. This is no Western re-enactment, just the sign of some amazing food being prepared & served by award winning chef Josh Eggleton & his restaurateur friends. Josh behind the Michelin starred pub, The Pony and Trap, will be running Eat Drink Bristol Fashion in Bristol’s Queen Square from May 13th - 27th 2013.Great British Chefs are delighted to be involved in a special evening.

If you're travelling past Bristol's Georgian Squares in the next two weeks and notice some Native American tipis in the centre, don't worry.  It's not the sign of a Cowboys & Indians re-enactment, just the sign of some amazing food being prepared & served by award winning chef Josh Eggleton & his friends.  Josh behind the Michelin starred pub, The Pony and Trap, will be introducing  Eat Drink Bristol Fashion to Bristol's Queen Square for the next fortnight. Tom Burnford & Great British Chefs got a sneak peek at what was on offer.
