How to decorate pastry

Decorating pastry is a great way to use up leftover trim as well as add a personalised touch to any dish. Additional decoration can include anything from animals to initials. Have a go at adding a custom touch to Nathan Outlaw's chicken and mushroom pie with cheddar shortcrust pastry or Paul Foster's steak and ale pie with caramelised celeraic.
