As coronavirus spreads across the UK, the hospitality industry has been among the hardest hit. Pubs and restaurants nationwide have been asked to close for the foreseeable future, but many of them are responding to the crisis with novel new ways of supporting the public with food. Many are using their access to produce and skills in the kitchen to provide food on delivery – either cooked or ready to cook, whilst others have turned themselves into virtual farm shops, selling meat, fruit, vegetables and even wine from their cellars.
