We invited chef Chantelle Nicholson to cook her incredible vegan dessert live across Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Take a look at what she cooked and give it a try at home.

Our Live and Cooking campaign, in association with our healthy cookery partner Vitality, continues to connect some of the UK’s best chefs to the nation’s most ambitious and eager home cooks. Our latest live event saw Chantelle Nicholson (chef-patron of Tredwells in London) return to the screen, where she demonstrated how to make an incredible tropical dessert that was completely vegan and contained no refined sugar.

Chantelle is a keen advocate of healthy eating and believes cooking from scratch is one of the best ways to maintain a balanced diet. Her menus always cater for those with food intolerances or allergies, and she’s always looking for ways to season, sweeten or cook dishes for a healthier end result.

This Live and Cooking event was broadcast on our Facebook page in April. Viewers were able to ask Chantelle questions before the event about all aspects of healthy eating and cooking, getting some insight into how to make plant-based cooking shine.
