Northern Thai barbecue spot Khao Bird is opening above the Globe Tavern on 20th September, and offering 50% off all food until 4th October. The restaurant is the sister of Brighton's Lucky Khao, which is run by restaurateur Mike Palmer. Its focus will be on Thai barbecue, regional specialities including khao soi (curry and noodles) and street food snacks from Chiang Mai.

London will become home to the UK's first robotic yakitori shop when Yari Club opens on St Martin's Lane this month. Its soft launch runs from Tuesday 8th October to Tuesday 15th October, during which time you can grab 50% off the total bill – pick from eight chicken yakitori dishes including tsukune, kawa, momo, miso mune and teba.

Clapham grill house Franklin and Baines, which opened in February, has an ongoing two for one offer on all the steaks on its grill menu, running on Tuesdays. The section includes its 200g hanger, 250g rump and sirloin, 300g rib-eye and 1kg tomahawk for two.
