Selina Periampillai is a British-born Mauritian food pioneer, self-taught chef and author of The Island Kitchen. She is behind the successful Taste Mauritius brand and hosts supperclubs from her home, feeding people a taste of Mauritian cuisine. She also runs cookery classes teaching street food in Central London and provides a Mauritian private catering service for clients.
