Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so they say, and kicking things off with a satisfying, healthy meal is the key to a healthy day!
Fortunately, there are a whole host of ways you can make your breakfast more nutritious. Fruit is a classic start, as are yoghurt and cereals. Make up a mix and match bowl of granola, yoghurt and fruit and you have a tasty breakfast ready to go in less than a minute. Rosana McPhee's papaya and chia breakfast bowl is a nice twist on that, where the chia seeds give it a stickier pudding texture, whilst Chantelle Nicholson makes her own granola with cacao nibs, rolled oats and sultanas, and tops with vegan yoghurt.
Eggs are another great option – try Anna Hansen's Turkish menemen or Francesco Mazzei's eggs in purgatory if you want a satisfying crowd-pleaser, or there's Rachel Walker's mackerel and brown rice kedgeree, which makes great fuel for a big day ahead.
