How to make breadcrumbs

Making breadcrumbs is a great way of using up leftover or stale bread. Its can be added to a range of sweet of savoury dishes such as Galton Blackiston's stout ice cream with brown crumble or Colin McGurran's stuffed chicken breast with roasted cauliflower and cheesy breadcrumbs. There is no need to waste extra breadcrumbs as they can freeze well.
