Fusion Chef Peter Gordon and Artisan Chocolatier Paul A. Young have collaborated to create an exclusive array of cocktails, a four course Chocolate Tasting Menu and brunch dishes, all inspired by, and featuring some of the world’s finest chocolate. They will present this to a group of just 40 Great British Chefs ticket-holders on the 13th July as our exclusive reader event takes over the whole of Peter Gordon’s first floor Marylebone restaurant, The Providores and Tapa Room.

The event will begin with an introduction from Peter and Paul as they welcome guests to the restaurant with a Pomegranate, cocoa and ginger fizz cocktail made by The Providores bar team. Guests will then be seated at convivial, communal tables and presented with the starter – a delicious Chocolate babaganoush dish.

Peter and Paul will introduce each course to the guests; will speak about how each individual dish came about, why the ingredients have such good alchemy, and what the distinctive characteristics of the individual chocolate are. Each course will also be presented with an accompanying and complimentary wine from The Providores wine list, which is the largest New Zealand list in Europe.

Throughout the meal the team at The Providores as well as Peter and Paul themselves will be on hand to answer any cooking, chocolate or foodie questions and the dinner will conclude with coffees, petits fours and a thank you from both Peter and Paul who will also answer any unanswered questions from the guests. Guests will each receive a signed souvenir brochure detailing the menu, some information about Peter and Paul and a recap of what they ate and drank during the evening. Tickets for this very special dinner on 13th July are available to purchase from The Providores and Tapa Room by emailing office@theprovidores.co.uk and cost £100 per person.

For those unable to make the event on the 13th July, chocolate dishes will be available in the first floor contemporary dining room, The Providores, throughout July for lunch and dinner, with cocktails and selected dishes available in the ground floor Tapa Room, the all-day wine bar and café.

Guests at The Providores in July will be able to select one or all courses of the Chocolate Menu either enjoying the full Chocolate experience, or mixing and matching with regular à la carte dishes. And with The Providores and Tapa Room home to Europe’s largest premium New Zealand wine list, matched NZ wines will be available on request to compliment the specialist dishes.

Throughout the month of July Peter and Paul’s chocolate petit fours will also be on sale in all 4 branches of Paul A. Young stores.

There are only a limited number of tickets available for the special dinner (£100 per person), so email office@theprovidores.co.uk now to book.
