This is a great thing to prep and have cold at a weekend lunch when the in-laws are rocking up or there's a bit of a do and you want something easy to serve. It's a loaf of course pâté really, so break open those pickled onions and gherkins that are skulking in the cupboard, not to mention the chutney and the mustard. A good strong piece of Cheddar wouldn't go amiss either.
