Ingredients

  • 225g of Tilda Pure Basmati Rice, soaked for 30 minutes in cold water
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 100g of coconut, freshly grated
  • salt, to taste

Beverages

  • 450ml of water

Speciality Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 pinch of asafoetida

Spices & Dried Herbs

  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 3 dried red chillies
  • 1 green chilli, chopped

Cereals, Grains & Pasta

  • 1 tsp white urad dal

Fruit & Vegetables

  • 4 shallots, sliced
  • 4 asparagus spears, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 6 green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 4 tbsp of peas
