500ml of milk, slightly warmed
butter, or oil, to grease the crumpet rings
150ml of double cream
Store Cupboard
7g of fast-action dried yeast
100g of plain flour
200g of strong white flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tbsp of icing sugar, optional
Beverages
2 tbsp of warm water
Spices & Dried Herbs
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
