  • 600ml of double cream
  • 150ml of full-fat milk

  • 1/2 vanilla pod, split lengthways and seeds scraped
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 175g of caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp of Demerara sugar

  • 1 orange

  • 2 slices of brown bread
