300g of basmati rice
90g of raisins
70g of cashew nuts
1 tsp salt, heaped

3 tbsp of ghee
Spices & Dried Herbs
2 cardamom pods
1 cassia stick, 2.5cm long
2 cloves
Salad & Fresh Herbs
1 Indian bay leaf, large
Fruit & Vegetables
1 small onion, approximately 100g unpeeled weight, sliced evenly into thin rings
