Patishapta pitha – Bangladeshi rice crêpes

Ingredients

  • 75g of semolina
  • 75g of rice flour
  • 150g of plain flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 200g of desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp of pistachio nuts, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp of dried rose petals

Dairy

  • 400ml of milk
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • pouring cream, (optional)

Beverages

  • 50ml of water

Spices & Dried Herbs

  • 1 cinnamon stick, small
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 1 bay leaf

Speciality Ingredients

  • 225g of date molasses
