Halusky (garlic butter noodles with cabbage)

Ingredients

  • 200g of pappardelle, or similar wide noodle
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 savoy cabbage, cut into strips
  • salt
  • black pepper

Method

Boil the pappardelle until al dente

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan, and add the garlic and cabbage. Cook over a medium-low heat for 5 minutes, until the cabbage is fairly soft

When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add to the pan with the cabbage. Toss in the butter, season generously, and serve immediately
