Warm puff pastry tart with goat's cheese, figs, olives and capers

Ingredients

Cheese

  • 1 log of goat's cheese

Fruit & Vegetables

  • 2 large onions
  • 1 potato
  • 2 fresh figs

Dairy

  • 1 knob of butter
  • 150ml of double cream

Store Cupboard

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, rolled out to about 30cm by 40cm
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten with a dash of milk
  • 2 tbsp of pine nuts
  • salt
  • black pepper

Delicatessen

  • 1 tbsp of mini capers
  • 1 tbsp of black olives, stones removed

Salad & Fresh Herbs

  • 1 tsp thyme leaves, picked
