Oyster sauce beef fillet and egg yolk claypot

Ingredients

  • 300g of beef fillet

Fruit & Vegetables

  • 1 spring onion
  • 3 Chinese garlic sprouts, (or 10 green beans)

Spices & Dried Herbs

  • 1/2 knob of ginger
  • 1 pinch of five-spice powder

Oils & Vinegars

  • 1 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Dairy

  • 1 free-range egg yolk

Speciality Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of Shaoxing wine

Store Cupboard

  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 50ml of chicken stock, (fresh)

Cooking Sauces

  • 1/2 tbsp of light soy sauce
