Chow mein

Ingredients

Cereals, Grains & Pasta

  • 150g of egg noodles

Fresh Meat

  • 1 chicken breast, cut into very thin strips

Fruit & Vegetables

  • 1 bok choi
  • 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Salad & Fresh Herbs

  • 1 handful of beansprouts

Store Cupboard

  • 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornflour, heaped

Oils & Vinegars

  • 2 tbsp of rice wine vinegar, preferably shaoxing
  • 2 tbsp of sesame oil
