Ingredients
Store Cupboard
2 sheets of puff pastry
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
3 tbsp of cornflour
Dairy
1 egg, beaten with a pinch of salt
Oils & Vinegars
3 tbsp of groundnut oil, or other vegetable oil, for frying
Fruit & Vegetables
1 medium onion, weighing approx. 150g
2 garlic cloves
1 green Indian finger chilli, finely sliced
Spices & Dried Herbs
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 ground coriander
1/4 ground ginger
1/4 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin seeds
Fresh Meat
100g of goat mince, mutton mince or lamb mince
Speciality Ingredients
1/4 tsp MSG (monosodium glutamate) powder, or 1/2 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
