Winter-spiced banana smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 250ml of milk
  • 100ml of vanilla frozen yoghurt, or ice cream
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, plus extra for dusting

Method

Peel and chop the banana. Add to a blender with the spices and a dash of lemon juice

Add the milk, frozen yoghurt and honey and blend until smooth
  • 250ml of milk
  • 100ml of vanilla frozen yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp of honey

Divide into glasses, sprinkle over a pinch of ground nutmeg and serve with a straw
