Uncover and Great British Chefs have one central passion in common – the love of great food. Following our soft launch last year, where we both happily enjoyed one or two drinks too many, a foodie union of some kind was bound to happen.

Uncover is the app to discover and book London’s most desirable restaurant at the last minute.

As we spend our days seeking London’s best restaurants, Great British Chefs have asked us to help you keep your finger on the pulse in London’s ever-growing restaurant scene. As a result, each month on the Great British Chefs blog we will share our two cents on the places that should be on your radar.

Coya – Hotspot

Why we love it: This fabulous Peruvian restaurant brings much-needed South American flair to Mayfair's stylish fine dining scene. Their modern interpretation of Peruvian cuisine is prepared in one of three open kitchens, including the Ceviche Bar, which serves some of the best Pisco Sour cocktails in town.

Favourite Dish: Corvina with Truffle and Ponzu.

Lyle’s – Hustle and Bustle

Why we love it: Lyle's repurposes a former industrial space with an all white interior that offers both minimalism and just the right level of sophistication. With a daily changing set dinner menu, there is never a dull moment in this Shoreditch gem and judging by their impressive wine list, the incredible food is in fine company.

Favourite Dish: Blood Cake with Damson.

Hutong – Hotspot

Why we love it: Which will leave you the most awestruck - the views or the food? Situated on the 33rd floor of the Shard, Hutong undoubtedly sets the bar when it comes to serving delectable favourites like spicy soft shell crab, all whilst soaking up breathtaking panoramic views of London.

Favourite Dish: Soft Shell Crab with Crispy Dried Sichaun Chilli.
