By Mecca Ibrahim •

Thanks to all who voted in our competition. For the whole of Social Media Week at Great British Chefs  bloggers were invited to make a meal for Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food Campaign. We then asked you to vote for your favourites. Those with the most votes made it to the final judging by Observer Food Award Winning Food Blogger & Author  - Niamh Shields of EatLikeaGirl and Award Winning Food Writer & Judge of Great British Menu – Matthew Fort  The final judging recently took place and the overall winner is ........
Paul Heathcote's Chocolate Pots - Great British Chefs Valentine's Day Collection

Tasty Ribbons aka Kathryn Morrissey who wins the following:
  • a meal for two at one of the Michelin Starred restaurants featured on Great British Chefs site,
  • a hand blender from Philips (for also raising the most funds for Action Against Hunger),
  • a hamper from Unearthed foods,
  • wine tasting at home party voucher for six from Pieroth,
  • and vouchers to make her own postcards & promo cards from MOO.com

Niamh Shields said "It was very hard to choose between the two finalists.  Crafty Cakes & Hungry Female's Asian food looks really interesting.  But Tasty Ribbons looks slightly better presented (see above), plus she included videos too"

For coming second Craft Cakes & Hungry Female (whose Profiteroles are pictured below) also win some great prizes
Runners up - Yummy Choo Eats & ATJgraphics also win copies of BOCCA by Jacob Kenedy.

We would like to thank all of the kind sponsors of prizes and particularly the contestants whose efforts raised £649.50 for Action Against Hunger.  Look out for more blogging contests from us in the future and once again congratulations to Kathryn for winning the overall contest.
